Legendary training grounds of 1972 Olympic gold medalist Mark Spitz and more than 50 Olympic winners, the George F. Haines International Swim Center is home to the Santa Clara Swim Club, which will be holding their 55 years reunion in conjunction with the June 2006 International Swim Meet. The greatest swimming coach of all time, George Haines founded the Santa Clara Swim Club in 1951 and during his 24 years of coaching, club swimmers have won an unprecedented 43 AAU national championships and set numerous world records.
